Week Fourteen Science Lessons: Natural Resources and Alternative Energy

Grade 5 Science

Week Fourteen Lessons

This week we will continue the Earth Unit. We will be exploring natural resources and alternative energy. Students will learn about the types of resources, how we use them, and the importance of conservation.  Here is a lesson to help you plan. Links to actual materials and lessons are provided throughout this post. I  hope you can find something to help make planning this year a little, or a lot, easier!

I wanted to add a note about my planning schedule to this post. I typically write lesson plans two to three weeks ahead, and week fourteen corresponds with the week after Thanksgiving break for my location. I will be posting a lesson next week over Thanksgiving vacation to stay two weeks ahead. I hope you have a restful and wonderful Thanksgiving break next week!!
